It’s official, we’ve changed our name…..
SPAN Nelson, Social Planning Action Network Society, (formed and operating in Nelson BC since 2006) is now Nelson at its Best.
Why?….
As many people know, Nelson at its Best has been the name of the SPAN Nelson initiated End Poverty Initiative. It was chosen to replace SPAN overall because it is positive, simple to understand, points to common ground and is easy to embrace across sectors and perspectives. We feel it is a better name for reflecting the overall community goal that is at the heart of social planning and community development.
